Krista Mackenzie, Director of Rehab

Krista Mackenzie, OTR/L, is the director of rehab for UF Health Rehab Hospital. In this role since 2022, Krista oversees the growth and development of the therapy staff including physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, recreation therapists and rehab aides.

Krista previously served for six years as the hospital’s therapy manager. Previously, she was director of inpatient occupational therapy at Casa Colina Rehab Hospital in Pomona, CA. As a practicing occupational therapist for 27 years, Krista specialized in the rehabilitation of spinal cord injury patients with a focus on complex seating and positioning.

Krista holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Florida International University. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Rehab Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America and Florida Occupational Therapy Association.
